On October 18, 1386, Universität Heidelberg officially opened its doors to the very first students. We will honor this historic date once again with our annual, 24-hour, online fundraising drive.

2019 has been a big year. Uni Heidelberg was once again recognized as a “University of Excellence” and as such is “actively shaping the future by promoting responsible knowledge transfer in cooperation with its strong local, regional and international partners.” As alumni, you are a significant part of this cooperation; as U.S. alumni, you are international partners. 

We encourage all alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Heidelberg to contribute to Universität Heidelberg on October 18^th.

You may choose from among the following initiatives:

• The HAUS Scholarship Fund

Your support will help a student enrolled at a U.S. university to study in Heidelberg.

• The Heidelberg University General Endowment Fund

Your support will help Universität Heidelberg to maintain its place as a dynamic research and education institution at the highest level.

• HAUS – Heidelberg Alumni U.S.

Your donation will fund alumni activities across the United States.

These 24 hours make a big difference, and every dollar counts. Your donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
