Hello Friends!

Happy Friday- and, "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

This week has been quite an interesting one- full of hanging out behind the scenes of "Good Morning America," to going to the official final season premiere of "Game of Thrones" (of which I had never seen a single episode up until that point---don't judge me! ). Definitely a fun and "cre8tive" way to be in the NYC!

Here are a few captures:

*I will be sure to share more on my Instagram @thecre8tiveartisan

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Ensorcell- [en·sor·cell]  to enchant or fascinate someone

  • ADVICE: "Learn when to face the wind, and when to walk with it."
    ~ Najwa Zebian ~

  • MOOD MUSIC: While being "caught up in the rapture" of a YouTube matrix, I came across a singer by the name of Lynnea Moorer who does these AMAZING covers. (I love THIS ONE she does of Billie Elilish's "Lovely"). Her mellow vibes and beautiful spirit make her quite ensorcelling (I had to use that word somewhere *smile*), and are a true refresh in the music of today.

  • SMILE OF THE WEEK: There is a smile...BUT, you may also want to have a couple of tissues near by with THIS STORY. Nurse Brenda Buursta is definitely living in her purpose. Such a touching share.

  • RANDOM LIFE TIP: Traveling abroad? Instead of getting travel adapters for all of your devices, just buy one adapter — and a regular power strip

  • THING I WANT TO TRY: I recently attended an event where I was able to meet and connect with Daily Harvest founder, Rachel Drori. I loved hearing her story about how she started her company focused on creating ease in providing divinely healthy and fresh eating options for people in today's world. And, I am looking forward to trying one of their top sellers, the Cauliflower + Leek soup.

It has been a good little while since I have pulled out my paints and brushes...but, one of the intentions I had set forth for this year, was to get back into some of my favorite "creative spaces." And, as you may or not know (or, may be able to guess from your context clues), one of those things is painting.

I tend to go through periods where I won't do anything for a long time, and then "all of a sudden" there are are times where I shut myself off from the world, and do a deep dive of making all kinds of things. Anywhooo, I was super excited when I was invited to attend a paint night centered around creating something around the concepts of "faith, hope, and healing" ---especially, because these are some of the key components and themes of my life. I was given the foundational subject of a tree, and was encouraged to create around that...After a couple of hours of soothing music and reflection, this is what I came up with. While this may not be my "favorite" piece of work I have ever created, it is my truth, and is very much representative of my state of mind. I am tremendously grateful for being given the opportunity to have been invited to create in the space, and to do one of my favorite things. And, I am even more grateful for the chance to do a deep reflect on the components of "My Tree of Life" (which is also what I decided to call my piece).

This week I challenge you to take time to get in a "creative space" and do something that will connect you to another side of yourself that you have been missing. And, as a bonus, I also encourage you to reflect on those key components that are the "makings of you."

I am STILL in the process of creating some "non-traditional" events where people can connect on a deeper level in person. And, I am still in need of a bit more feedback in my survey. If you have not done so already, please take a quick 5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
