👋
Hey Morifilm community,
Holidays are slowly coming to an end. You’re going back to school or work and so are we. Our small break was very beneficial. The lab has been growing much faster than we expected, so that time off helped us recharge and refocus our efforts to try and bring you an even better lab experience.
Cole had a blast in Germany where he was able to meet the awesome folks at Safelight Berlin and other great projects we love like Cinestill and Silvergrain Classics.
In the meantime, François and I got to work in the darkroom. It’s coming along nicely with the help from some friends, but as with all construction we are experiencing a bit of delay. More details later in this email.
Like usual we have some cool things planned for this month. First and foremost: the exhibition(s)! If you haven’t seen it yet; our Darkroom exhibition has been slightly extended and will be up until the 17th of September.
From the 21st to the 25th we will have a small exhibition to celebrate an artist we love @analogbylau. Her dreamy portraiture and play with light turns otherwise mundane scenes into works of art. Come check it out and buy a print!
We are also proud to announce that we have a date for our first darkroom class! It’s a 5 hour black and white printing class that will take place on the 25th of September. You can book your spot right here.
Hope to see you there,
Raph & Cole
