February is for Getting Things Done!
As an indie author, I'm self-employed. Which means I have to track business expenses and manage ad accounts and document my mileage to and from book signings. It's very much a small business and has to be treated as such, which can be a pain for us daydreamer creative types who didn't go to business school.
It's been an ongoing learning experience--one that I feel like I have to relearn every year around this time. BUT I'm finally done, and I'll be back to the regular writing schedule starting next week.
Tomorrow is for a much-needed trip to the doggie park, since Lulu has found my limited playtime unacceptable. There have been many pitiful, dramatic sighs... and grudge tinkle on the rug.
