Greetings everyone!
It's your chronically sleep-deprived (and also technologically scrappy) corset enthusiast!
As you all know, I'm solar powered, and I can slowly feel my energy returning as the days grow longer.
This was another great week for designing new fabrics and colorways for Timeless Trends (all about that on my Patreon) and we now have over 50 different fabrics in the pipeline - almost enough to release one per week for the next year!
Over the past month or so I've also been working on a secret project - designing TT's new special order page, as well as configuring their new sort & filter! It took weeks of app research, experimentation and tinkering to bypass Shopify's platform limitations (Shopify only allows 100 combinations per listing, and TT's new special order page allows for 987,896 different combinations!).
I'm not the best at programming or development, but I have a basic millennial tech literacy, a "can do" attitude, and I'm just stubborn enough to not ask for help. It's not perfect but I'm weirdly proud of it - it was one of my bigger tech projects since Corset Database (which still exists and is (mostly) up to date, by the way!).
So if you saw their announcement for the new page this week and you said "huh, it looks like Lucy's work" that's because it is. Also, I receive a commission for each special order now 😊 check it out!
(I have yet to decide whether I want to do the same configuring on my own special order section, because I think it makes things clearer for clients to have a separate listing for each silhouette)
Now that this latest project is finished, I am looking forward to pulling some other projects off the backburner (like hopefully a new silhouette later this year?!?! 🎉)
