Dear Trail Runner
Together with our Title Sponsor THIRSTI Water and Apparel Partner First Ascent we are so excited to announce that the THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN will expand into a NATIONAL SERIES OF EVENTS, with 3 events taking place in 2021 and 5 events in 2022! The 3-Day event that took place in March falls under the 2021 list of events.
The two remaining events that will take place in 2021 include:
- The THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN XPLORE which consists of a 2-Day individual stage race taking place at Van Gaalen Kaasmakerij (NW) on 21&22 August (entries are OPEN)
- The THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN XPERIENCE which will be a 1-Day event taking place at Paul Cluver (WC) on 18 September (entries are OPEN)
In 2022 the THIRSTI AFRICANX National Series of events will include:
- The traditional 3-Day team event (Western Cape) (entries open 01 July)
- Two THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN XPLORE (2 day) races (KZN and North West Province)
- Two THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN XPERIENCE (1 day) races (Gauteng and Western Cape).
