Everything is going well here as we move closer towards summertime 😎 This Thursday I took a photograph of the first cruise ship of the season arriving in the port of Montevideo from my bedroom 🛳️

You may know that Uruguay does not adjust its time for summer and winter 🕙 So with clocks changing abroad recently there’s a lesser time difference between us and Europe (I love it when there’s finally just 2 hours between me and my mum in the UK—it’s just gone down from 4 to three). To the west, there are now two hours between us, and for example, New York, where previously there was just one.

So while here in Uruguay, we’re starting to make our summer plans, many of you in the north are more focused on the upcoming holiday season 🎄
