Alan Humm is a poet and a novelist, as well as the editor of the online arts journal One Hand Clapping. He has had poems published in several places and his new collection, A Brief and Biased History of Love, will be coming out soon. When not writing, he teaches English, Film Studies and The History of Art. His first novel, The Sparkler, is the result of years spent reading and thinking about Charles Dickens. It will be published in May 2024.
Rachel Stolzman Gullo is the author of two previous novels, The Sign for Drowning and Practice Dying. She lives in Brooklyn. Her novel, Confuse the Wind, will be published in June 2024.
Frances Park is the author or co-author of twelve books including the historical novel To Swim Across the World (Hyperion), the memoir Chocolate Chocolate: The True Story of Two Sisters, Tons of Treats and the Little Shop that Could (Thomas Dunne), and the children’s book Grandpa’s Scroll (Albert Whitman). Her recent memoir That Lonely Spell (Heliotrope Books) was praised by Kirkus Reviews as “A fresh take on the Korean American memoir by a writer from a generation whose voice has seldom been heard.” Frances’s short fiction and personal essays have been widely published in many magazines, and she earned a spot on THE BEST AMERICAN ESSAYS 2017 Notable List. Frances's novel, Blue Rice, will be published in June 2024.
Genalea Barker is a sleep-deprived mother of four with a deep-seated love for writing and a moderately useful Associate’s Degree in English Literature. Her award-winning short fiction has appeared in Bookends Review, Gemini Magazine, Grande Dame Literary and others, with creative nonfiction forthcoming in Watershed Review. Her first novel, Life After, debuts in February 2023, and she’s thrilled to be working with Vine Leaves Press on her second novel, Lovehurts. Genalea resides in Southern Idaho where she enjoys small-town living, playing music with her family, and occasionally getting caught behind farm equipment on the highway. Her novel, Lovehurts, will be published in July 2024.
