This time I've got a short discussion on how you get out of writing yourself into a corner: Character Sheets!
You may not realize it, but having strongly defined characters in your story (comic book, play, movie, novel etc) can really help you out when you need it most.
Mayfield Eight was in danger of getting mired in mediocrity until I took advantage of how my characters were put together. Letting the personality of the characters dictate where the story goes makes it more organic, natural and believable.
