Show some love Project of B-Gifted Sierra Leone

Andrew Greene founder of B-Gifted Sierra Leone, is seen below sharing Teddy Bears during his 'Journey of Hope' initiative.  

Andrew greatly desires to continue the yearly program in his home country Sierra Leone.

The project hopes to raise a total of $1000 shared in this way.  $500 will go  for the initial purchase of teddies in Sierra Leone to be shared to children during the Christmas and New Year period. $500 will ship Teddy bears and books and other kids items.
Through the Show Some Love project we will collect Teddy bears, books and other kids items for shipping and donations to Sierra Leone at a later date during the new year.

By donating cash, you will enable B-Gifted members in Sierra Leone to buy Teddy Bears locally and distribute to children who have suffered from war, Ebola and other forms of upheavals
The show some love project carries on the tradition which Andrew started in his home country and communities.

He started the project  with  kids affected by war or whose parents were war wounded or faced  amputation as a result of the war.
Now the project hopes to reach out to many other children who are orphaned by Ebola or the recent Flooding and Mudslide in Sierra Leone 
Andrew says he wants to carry on the project to connect communities in showing love and empathy and the compassionate human spirit to help those in dire need.
He believes that Teddy bears bring a glow and a smile on to the faces of kids and uplift them. He hopes to connect communities too in the US to support the education of kids affected by war, Ebola and other social consequences.
The project starts during the Month of Christmas and last till Easter every year.
Andrew is asking his friends and family to join him in this project and by collecting donations,Teddy Bears, children's books, toys and other stuffed animals as donations for the kids in Sierra Leone.

B-Gifted Foundation Sierra Leone was founded in 2007 in Freetown, Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and
Children’s Affairs in Sierra Leone. B-Gifted Foundation is a nonprofit Organization that uses creativity and technology to address
human, environmental rights, enhance peace and sustainable development in Sierra Leone.

engage women and young people in technology for global interaction and education, creativity and arts that foster peace, human rights
and social justice

Andrew’s organization continues to develop new ways for youth to cope with the effects of war through overcoming barriers of communication between youth in conflict and conflict-free zones. Some of their newest programs help youth communicate about and overcome the tragedies of war through art, creative writing, music recording and video production.

About the Founder

Andrew Currently lives in  Baltimore where he continues his peace efforts with the Maryland United for Peace and Justice. Andrew has been a powerful model for peace and education among war affected children and youth in his home country Sierra Leone. Though he has been surrounded with violence and war, he continually chose to pursue actions that lead to education and peace. His efforts have changed countless lives during and after the war, and his innovative education programs and rehabilitation techniques have caught the attention of world leaders.  

Through his courage, passion, innovation and commitment he was also able to set up community access centers equipped with computers and new educational technologies so that youth can learn skills that will pull them out of poverty and and help them recover from the war. 

These innovation centers have proven to be rewarding for youth Who have faced hardship due to the war.

We are grateful to kick-start the project - home away from home - thanks to the generous support and donations from Cheryl Listman, by way of Steve Hock (Farm House Greens)
