Dear Reader,

At the beginning of the year, the word God gave me was Sabbath. I didn't know what that meant, and God knows I resisted resting for a good while, but the time has come for a period of rest, deep soul rest. 

Jesus says His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I made my share of the yoke heavy. Please pray for me as I examine my habits and lifestyle to see how I can make better rhythms of rest going forward. 

God has a plan for this year, and I know He will bring it about, even if it is a season of waiting, listening, and learning patience.
