Tales from the High Stool - 9pm.
Pádraig Ó Cuinn hosts this program on 2RRR with interviews with people involved in local & global music. Guests are invited into a virtual 'pub' to sit on 'The High Stool', & discuss music, musical influences, & whatever they like, with their virtual 'bar-person'.
Due to Covid restrictions Patrick is unable to have live guests so over the next three weeks he will be repeating his interviews with Eric Bogle including part 3 which has never been broadcast (and probably my favourite part). In this week's episode he discusses growing up in Scotland and his early musical influences, family singsongs, the pandemic, vaccines, Pete Seeger, The CND (Campaign for nuclear disarmament) skiffle music, The Beatles and Isla St Clair.
Streaming live on 2RRR (88.5MHz FM). Podcasts online after each show. Send suggestions for music, suitable guest etc. to Patrick.
