I am thrilled to announce that Jazz Spectrum Dance Company will be presenting its first annual production of “The Full Spectrum”, a live concert for audiences both in person and online. This marks the first time since the rebirth of JSDC that we will be producing our own concert in an actual theater! The space has been carefully selected to represent and support both the intimacy and the power of our repertoire. It is also very important to me that you, the audience both in person and online, have the opportunity to really “feel" the emotion conveyed by the dancers, while also being able to see the full picture of each work presented.
Sadly, due to COVID and financial restrictions, the first two theater spaces I had selected fell through. However, determined to carry out my vision of two JSDC concerts per year, I continued my hunt for space. Despite several conversations with various theater managers and visits to different locations, nothing was clicking, that is until I walked into the Curtis Theater, located in Brea, California. I instantly knew that this was where “The Full Spectrum” belonged. The stage is beautifully designed for dance and there is truly not a bad seat in the house!
The company members have been training and rehearsing diligently in order to deliver a show to you that our founder, Christine Baltes, would truly be proud to present…and, in true Baltes fashion, I can promise that the demand for excellence is certainly being met!
Don’t miss your opportunity to join us either online or live and in person at the Curtis Theater in Brea June 26th and 27th. Seating is limited so purchase your tickets now. We are certain to sell out!
I can’t wait to see you at “The Full Spectrum”!
