Virtual Rally to Fund Return to School

Action can be as simple as a social media post.

This weekend, take time to snap a picture holding a simple sign with a school funding priority on it or record a 20-second video.

Then, join Virginia PTA and our coalition partners at Fund Our Schools Va by calling, emailing, tagging and tweeting at your legislators starting on Tuesday, August 18, and throughout the General Assembly Special Budget Session.

We want to let legislators know that we support:

✅ Restoring the $500M of K-12 funding that was unallotted in April

✅ Funding $600M for Flexible K-12 Pandemic Response

✅ Accelerating funding for High-Speed Broadband

✅ Restoring $50M for School Counselors

✅ Providing a Registered School Nurse for every school

✅ Improving accessibility of licensed, affordable childcare
