Every Second is a Fresh Start

I hope you're having a good day. I just got back from a trip with my family and am getting back into the swing of things.

My kids just had their spring break. We haven't ever really done a big trip for spring break before, but this year my husband and I decided it would be fun to take the family to California for a few days to experience Disneyland, California Adventure and the beach. It was a busy few days, but also so good for our family. My kids were excited and got along really well for the most part which was nice since that is not always the case. 😉

The beach was a bit chilly this time of year, so we'll definitely have to go back sometime when it's warmer, but all in all, it was a nice trip and I'm glad we made some new memories together.

Over the past several months I’ve had periods of time where I’ve been in a great routine: getting my words written, going to the gym, menu planning and staying on top of most things that come from being a mom of 4 busy kids…😅

And then, I’ve had weeks where I’ve binged way too much reality TV.🤦‍♀️

So after a few weeks of slacking off on some of my healthy habits, I’m ready to get into a better routine.

Which is actually perfect timing since I just received the cutest package in the mail from @planitwithstickers which is making my plans suddenly so much cuter. (I might be a stationary addict and having book themed stationary is it’s own kind of heaven. 😍 )

So I’m decorating my planner with this cute, bookish washi tape, setting up my new "Bookish Things" bullet journal to keep track of the projects I’m working on and just trying to set myself up for a successful next few months. (I know you’re anxious for me to finish Nash and Kiara’s book! 😉)

This time of year is so busy with my family, but I’m hoping that once I get into a better routine, I’ll feel better and less scattered.
