š YOUR LUCKY PEC JOG-A-THON GUIDE FOR THIS FRIDAY 3/17 š
Our goal this year is to raise $65,000 to help pay for our enrichment programs like art, science, garden, and P.E. as well as campus upgrades and classroom mini grants.
Printed forms were sent home with students but you can also download them HERE.
Log in or set up PledgeStar and upload your studentās picture and send kick off emails to friends and family. They make it super easy!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Bib Pinners Needed! We need parent volunteers in every class to help to pin bibs to the front of shirts in order for the laps to be counted. These are quick 15 minute slots. Please sign-up here starting at 8am!
Get all of your childās donations submitted by March 24 to qualify for prizes (see below for prize details). Flat donations or per lap donations of any amount are welcome
Corporate matches work for the Jog-A-Thon too! Check with your company to double down with your donation.
EVENT DAY DETAILS:
This year we are using professional lap counting equipment through Fusion Timing!
Every student will get a customized bib on the day of the Jog-A-Thon that will automatically count their laps!
Flat donations or per lap donations of any amount are welcome.
The students voted on Vote Day and āSports Themeā won! Students can wear jerseys, hats or anything sport related.
Donāt forget to wear something green for St. Patrickās Day!

Paul Ecke Central is special school with an incredible support community powered by our PTA.
The PTA is seeking parents who would like to participate in lead positions on the PTA Board. These positions are incredibly important to our teachers, our students, and our community.
Why should you take on a leadership role in our PTA?
Make new connections within the PEC Community
Support important school and community programs
Strengthen our community by facilitating a network designed to support all students and community members
Pack some lightweight multi-purpose bags for groceries, lunches, beach/hiking gear, etc
Plan to rewear items allowing you to pack lighter. Aircraft fuel consumption is correlated to the weight of the aircraft so lighter is better
Do Your Kids Like Run Club?
We Need Volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays!
Students get prizes when they hit 25 Miles and 100 Miles + an end-of-the-year party!
We need more parent volunteers to keep this activity going. Parents needed just a half hour before school to punch cards and issue new cards. Help us keep this student-loved activity going! To volunteer, please email Monica Brickell: monica.brickell@gmail.com
FAMILIES NEEDED TO HELP CARE FOR OUR CHICKENS
Our chickens need volunteers to let them out, help fill their water and food, and lock them at night.
