I love the idea of a roof garden, so that appears in my books too, although I've never seen anything quite like I've imagined. If you have, let me know, I'd love to see it!
Prospero continued, "Is there anything you'd particularly like to do, or anywhere you'd like to go? Or shall I show you one of my favourite places on the whole campus?"
Leonie nodded. "I'd like that."
Concerned about what Prospero might be up to, Andrew spoke to him telepathically, "Your favourite place is the roof garden."

From the outside, the hospital appeared to be a huge square block some five storeys high. From this vantage point, the reality was very different. At ground level the hospital was built around several interconnecting courtyards, with roofs at every level. It looked haphazard but Prospero explained that it was designed so that every ward, clinic, staff room or public place had access to outside space whether that was a courtyard, roof garden, terrace or balcony. Every roof at every level either formed part of that outside space or housed solar panels to contribute to the hospital’s energy needs. From this high point, the garden wound its way down to ground level through a series of slopes and steps, although it was not a short journey.
