AUTUMN DISHES

From Highland Venison Croquettes and Free-range Duck Leg served with sticky red cabbage, to Spiced Aubergine with chimichurri dressing and an oat fraiche tzatziki. From Shakshuka with baked free-range eggs, tomatoes, sweet peppers, spices and sourdough, to unmissable MSC North African spiced pan-fried cod cheeks. Our new autumn menu is guaranteed to warm you up on the inside when it’s miserable outside.

No longer are side dishes a take it or leave it option, not when there’s tempting Dak Dak Salad and Thyme roasted Mediterranean Vegetables.

The Honey & Thyme Pudding is back by popular demand, alongside the ultimate dessert comfort blanket - Bramley Apple, Hazelnut and Rosemary Crumble with clotted cream ice cream.

To celebrate being shortlisted for the Food Made Good Awards 2019, Source Fish Responsibly, I wanted to showcase our amazing fish supplier Stickleback Fish who specialise in sourcing MSC certified fish and seafood.

We’ve worked with Stickleback for 14 years now and have always been impressed by their quality, commitment to sustainability and ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry.

Last week I was honoured to be asked by the BBC to be a spokeperson on the news channel for a feature on food allergies. The programme discussed how restaurants can do better to demonstrate what is in their dishes, to help diners with food allergies make better informed decisions.

As many of our diners know, we are proud to work with Menu Guide, which is an interactive allergen menu that allows waiting staff to provide accurate allergy and dietary information on a tablet, catering to the estimated two million people in the UK who have need of it.
