Convoy of Justice
Orlando, Florida- The Florida National Organization for Women along with the Greater Orlando
NOW Chapter will host the “Convoy of Justice” to uplift and fight alongside those who are
protesting the injust actions that resulted in the deaths of George Floyd, Breona Taylor, Ahmaud
Arbery and other senseless victims of crimes in America. Our theme is “Driving Out the
Injustices”
Cynthia Harris, Florida NOW Racial Justice Chair said “We believe that it is important to stand
in solidarity with the rest of the country to demand justice for those who have been unjustly
killed by the police and other wannabe vigilantes. All roles are important, whether you are
marching in the streets, driving in your car, making phone calls or making donations the time is
now to take action to keep our communities safe. There is no wrong way to take action, but be
safe in how you do it. We Demand an end to the War against Black people.”
We’ll start at 10am in front of Fashion Square Mall (The Tile Shop store-3113 East Colonial
Drive, Orlando, Florida 32803) and driving to West Oaks Mall (9401 West Colonial Drive,
Ocoee, Florida 34761). We will conclude with a few speakers in the parking lot. In an effort to
comply with social distancing we will ask that all participants wear face masks and maintain
physical distancing in the West Oaks Mall parking lot.
