Summer in Kennett Square

We know the never-ending heat wave is sending folks down to the beach (or hunkered down next to the air conditioner!), but there is a lot to do right here in Kennett Square. Here are some of our favorite upcoming events and programs.

Brewfest Tickets go on sale July 26—but here's how you can get early access.

If the heat has you dreaming of fall, it's time to make plans for Kennett Brewfest, October 5!

Kennett Collaborative's 2024 donors get early access to purchase Brewfest tickets. Make a donation by July 19 and you'll get our exclusive collaborator email next Friday with early access. Thank you for supporting our community programs!

State Street

Gather your crew and make plans to hit up State Street for outdoor dining, live music, shopping and strolling, food trucks, pop-up vendors, and family-friendly fun.

FREE PARKING will be available in the Parking Garage. Street closures begin at 5pm and run through 10pm.

Tommy Froelich Band

The Sounds of Summer 2024 Free Concert Series continues on Wednesday! Join us in the park for live music by Tommy Froelich Band. Food and Beverages will be available to purchase from On The Roll, Victory Brewing, Rosie’s Kettle Corn, and La Bamba Ice Cream. Alcohol is prohibited in the park except when sold by licensed vendors. Please drink responsibly and support our vendors.

Roots & Blues Festival

July 27, 11 am–7:30 pm
Anson B. Nixon Park

Join your friends for the Roots & Blues festival! Kicked off by a New Orleans style parade, performances take place throughout the day alternating between the main stage and a concert pavilion. This inaugural event will include food trucks, adult beverages, and local artisans. Tickets are limited. Early bird pricing at AnsonBNixonPark.org.

KSQ Farmers Market, Every Friday, 3-6 pm at 600 S Broad Street. Free on-site parking!
