In Fall 2022, Illinois Swimming created the Championship Meet Task Force to evaluate current championship meets. Recommendations were made then voted on at the House of Delegates in 2024. Changes to our Championship Meets starts this Spring 2025!

2025 ILLINOIS SWIMMING CAMP SCHEDULE

Illinois Swimming has been working hard behind the scenes to bring a robust camp program to our athletes and coaches. With the success of events such as the Senior Quad Challenge, Aim for the Stars and Project LA, we are continuing those fan favorites while bringing new experiences in the form of a Women's & Girls Clinic, a combined Senior Quad Long Course Meet and a Summer College Road Trip!

2025 CAMP SCHEDULE

CAMP RECAP - SENIOR QUAD CHALLENGE

The 2025 Girls Senior Quad Challenge was held at Stevenson High School January 4-5th. A 2-Day Educational and Meet experience. Athletes attended the following sessions before competing as teams the next day. The camp roster can be found HERE.

ATHLETE COMMITTEE MEETING

The Illinois Swimming Athlete Representatives kicked off the holiday season with an Athlete Rep Retreat, spending the weekend downtown Chicago, exploring the city before their own Strategic Planning meeting.

The Athlete Reps invite all athletes to attend the next Athlete Committee Meeting to hear more on Illinois Swimming initiatives and athlete-led projects

JACK YETTER SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Please join us in honoring Jack by donating and encouraging others to support the Jack Yetter Scholarship Fund to provide opportunities for children from financially disadvantaged families with the opportunity to learn to swim or swim competitively.

You will also notice all camp shirts this year will have JPY on the sleeve, in honor of Jack Yetter, a prominent official, board member and swim dad.

A man with a mission for athlete centric programming, he will continue to be apart of everything we do.
