Member update

Membership Renewals 2020-2021

Membership renewals open on 1 August 2020. Renewal is recommended online through the member portal. **Please note that membership fees must be paid in full to complete the renewal.

Members with outstanding 2019-20 fees will not be renewed until fully paid.

Please note: Unfortunately, there are no discounts for the 2020-21 season for patrol hours, IRB drivers and patrol captains.

All volunteers must have a Working with Children card. Parents with children under 18 years old who are also members of the Club are exempt, unless attending overnight camps. Please review the SLSWA and SLSA member protection policies below.

Admin Office Update

Great news! The admin office will resume their normal operating hours effective Monday 27 July.

9am-2pm Monday- Wednesday and 9am-4pm Thursday and Friday

As many of you are aware, our beloved Office Coordinator Trish will soon be going on maternity leave. We are so excited for Trish as she prepares to welcome her very first little member of the family!

Live broadcast - Women in Surf!

Channel 9 will be celebrating 40 years of Women in Surf Lifesaving with a special broadcast at the club this Monday 27th July featuring two of SHSLSC's amazing women, Jess Williams and Carolyn Wilson!

Come on down and support the club on Monday. We would love to see as many female Nippers as possible take part in a live cross for the 5pm news!

Time: by 4:30pm at SHSLSC

SHSLSC Club President selected for leaders' masterclass

Congratulations to our Club President Brendan Privilege who has been selected to take part in Surf Lifesaving Australia's 2020 National Leaders' Masterclass. Beno will participate in the 4-day program alongside 15 other senior leaders in surf lifesaving, bringing back valuable skills and insight which will benefit our club and wider community.
