What: Ribbon cutting for the Conover-Phelps Trail

When: 10 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022

Where: Phelps Lakefront Pines Park

Since 2010, many individuals have contributed their time, talent and treasure to construct the 10.2 mile Conover-Phelps Trail and to link the two communities just like the Chicago Northwestern railroad spur did years ago. 

The trail is a result of partnerships between local, state and national groups and agencies.

Join us on May 28 to enjoy the fruits of all our labors, and to celebrate a trail that will be a community treasure for years to come!

These gala events, one in July and one in September, both feature beautiful bike rides with long and short options on trails or on roads, excellent event shirts, and festive post-ride gatherings featuring hearty food and drink and drawings for raffle grand prizes and door prizes.

Both rides are also great ways to help GHT build more trails!

July 30 - Ride with Leinie
