OPEN FOR CINEMA & ROOM-HIRE

The Buzz - 4 Dec 2020

We are so pleased to be back open again after Lockdown 2.

Huge thanks to all who came to our two socially-distanced cinema screenings on the last weekend of October. Despite the limited opening, it was extremely worthwhile to receive positive audience feedback regarding all the measures we had put in place to be a covid-safe venue. We loved welcoming you back and it was fantastic to see some familiar faces enjoying the movies again.

Mission Impossible Fallout

The Secret Garden (PG)

Sat 5 Dec 7.30pm
Adult £7.50, U16 £6.50

From the producer of Harry Potter and Paddington comes a new film adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic novel, The Secret Garden, starring Dixie Egerickx, Colin Firth and Julie Walters.

When Mary Lennox's parents suddenly die, she is sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven, on his remote country estate deep in the Yorkshire moors. While exploring, she discovers a hidden magical garden.

The mist on the moors, the flickering fires, the flashbacks - this is a beautiful film to watch on the big screen.

A safer big screen experience

We’re admitting fewer visitors so you can keep a distance from others and enjoy a relaxed visit. Only alternate rows of seats will be in use and there will be two empty seats between each bubble. It is essential that you sit in your allocated seat.

It is now a requirement to wear a face-covering in venues (unless exempt). This may be taken off to eat and drink only when seated inside the auditorium.

You will need to buy tickets in advance at www.beehivehoniton.co.uk or by phone 01404 384050 (not in person). Please review our COVID-19 guidance for audiences.

Far from The Beehive

Each June, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School brings a show to The Beehive as part of their West Country tour. It couldn’t happen this year but there’s an opportunity to enjoy their live stream from The Redgrave Theatre of 'Far From The Madding Crowd' from the comfort of your own home on the 5th, 7th or 8th December. More info and booking here.

Another show we had planned to have this Christmas was 'The Snow Beast' by Scratchworks Theatre Company. Instead, they have turned it into an exciting audiobook which blends action-packed storytelling with an original soundtrack and interactive science experiments! Perfect for budding young scientists aged 6 - 11.
