The festive Kennett Square Holiday Village Market at the enchanting Creamery of Kennett Square, spanning the first two weekends in December, has become a longstanding cherished Kennett tradition.

“We bring fifty vendors each day which, along with our unique merchants throughout Kennett, make for incredible holiday shopping!” says Daniel Embree, the Executive Director of Kennett Collaborative. “And there’s so much to do beyond shopping. At the market you can meet Santa & Mrs. Claus, go ice skating, and enjoy some hot cocoa or mulled wine next to the fire!”

Tinsel on the Town
Friday, December 8th

A special holiday shopping evening from 4-8 pm with Kennett Square merchants, designed for snatching up those last-minute gifts, and a bit of fun too. Explore the different shops and restaurants along the State Street area and complete a BINGO card to be entered to win a basket chock-full of KSQ goods and gift cards!

Winterfest Tickets On Sale Now!

Kennett Winterfest tickets are on sale now! Tickets make a fun and unique experience to gift this season. Complete the package by picking up Winterfest merch to wrap up with the gift at Kennett Collaborative's tent at the Kennett Square Holiday Village Market over the next couple of weekends!

Winterfest will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 600 S. Broad Street.

Last Chance: Vote for the Mushroom Drop

The Mushroom Drop, a part of the Midnight in the Square New Year's Eve celebrations in Kennett Square, has been nominated in USA Today's 2023 10 Best Readers' Choice travel awards! An expert panel selected Mushroom Drop as a contender for Best New Year's Eve Drop.

Vote once a day through Monday, December 4th. And join in the legendary festivities on New Year's Eve!

Service of Remembrance

Monday, December 11th
Kennett Area Senior Center, 6:30 pm

This Service of Remembrance is free and open to the public for anyone grieving a loss. It doesn't matter if the loss is recent, from many years ago, or anywhere in between. Join us for this one hour experience which includes candle light, music by Guenevere Finley, poetry, words of comfort, and more. We offer you the opportunity to gather with others and honor your loved one at the same time.

As you make your holiday plans, consider shopping at the year-round KSQ Farmers Market. Whether you're completing a meal for family and friends or picking up a host gift for a holiday party, there's plenty to discover every Friday!

We still have loads of local goodness to enjoy throughout the Winter Season, and we need and appreciate your continued support for the small farmers and producers who feed us year-round! You'll find produce (yes, still!), baked goods, meats, cheeses, eggs, artisanal foods & goods, greenery, and much more—all fresh and local!
