First off... Happy New Year!
I think we can agree that 2020 is not a year we were sad to see go. It is my heartfelt wish that you and your family are safe and healthy and that prosperity and abundant positivity make their way to you this next year.
Christmas here was quiet and the limited get-togethers were small. In my part of the world, we are still trying to reduce "the curve" relating to the pandemic, which suits my introverted nature, if I'm being honest. What it has meant is that I had more time to focus on getting my first series behind me, and looking ahead to my long-term project planning. Boy do I have some stuff planned! It's going to be a busy 2021!
Another thing happened this fall, and I didn't mention it before because we weren't sure we would be keeping him, but we have a new addition to the Henneman family. My youngest has taken in a stray cat and has spent the last couple of months convincing us he needs a home. I have officially joined the pet owner status once more, albeit jointly, and you have to admit from his picture that it would have been pretty hard to resist. He was an amazing helper during my relaunch as you can see, so without further ado, I would like you to meet Bubba!
I am pretty sure that he will be a BIG help with the Shenanigans part of my newsletter... only yesterday one of my orchids jumped off of a shelf and sent itself crashing to the floor. When I went out to see what had happened, he was sitting on his cat tree staring at me with a (not so) innocent look on his furry face. Mhmm...like I said... shenanigans! I'll keep you posted on the orchid... it isn't looking good. lol
