A WORD IN DUE SEASON

by MaryAnn Diorio, PhD

Dear Friends,

Because of the Thanksgiving Day holiday, November is the month during which we are more attuned to giving thanks. Yet, the giving of thanks should mark every day of our lives.

It has been shown that grateful people are happier people. Why? Because they focus on what they have and not on what they don't have.

We could all use a greater focus on giving thanks instead of complaining. Won't you join me in developing a more grateful heart? Won't you join me in becoming a better thanks-giver instead of a complainer?

I trust you will.

Happy Thanksgiving Day! I am so thankful for you!

MaryAnn
