Leave No Trace
Master Educator Course
The Leave No Trace Master Educator Course is a two-weekend program that teaches the ideals and practices of Outdoor Ethics. Participants will learn about the seven principles of Leave No Trace, in depth. The course also covers the history of outdoor ethics and the latest in the science behind Leave No Trace. A backpacking trek over the second weekend includes real-world application, and a visit to a post-Revolutionary War
settlement. This trek traverses the 1,000 acres of Camp Sequassen and Camp Workcoeman during a New England Autumn. The course also includes teaching techniques, and will prepare those who successfully complete the program to teach the Leave No Trace Trainer Course.
