Our Travel Series continues to be one of the most exciting aspects of NomadMania, bringing our community together around fascinating travel themes — from historical villages to unique museums and beyond.

Though the possibilities are endless (last week we announced an entire team of volunteers dealing with Series), there’s always more to explore.

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce something many of you have been asking for — the Intangible Cultural Heritage Series.

Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) refers to living cultural expressions, practices, and knowledge that communities pass down through generations, such as oral traditions, performing arts, social practices, rituals, festive events, knowledge about nature, and traditional craftsmanship.

It is distinct from tangible heritage like monuments or artifacts, though they may be associated with it. ICH provides a sense of identity, promotes cultural diversity, and helps communities adapt to their environment.

<40 Tickets Remaining for the Conference 6 🇧🇷

After the internal launch for our Premium Members and Early Birds, we’re excited to announce that tickets for Conference 6 are now open to the public!

The event will take place June 10–14 in Ouro Preto, Brazil, and while it is still way ahead, there are less than 40 tickets left.

Envoy of the Month - Pablo Gutierrez

In a world where most people dream of faraway lands, Pablo Gutierrez has turned those dreams into reality — many times over. Born and raised in Chile, this doctor, photographer, and relentless adventurer has visited more countries than any Chilean before him, often braving the road less travelled.

Pablo is also our Envoy to Chile and this summer hosted the first-ever NomadMania meeting in the country.

Something Truly Special Happened Last Week

Our Envoys to Greece and Turkey — Vassilis Stamatelopoulos and Sevcan Akesi — successfully hosted the first-ever international NomadMania event organised by the community itself on the island of Crete.

A huge milestone for our network of passionate travellers and a great showcase of international friendship and cooperation. 

Meanwhile, on continental Europe, Austria saw the return of an already beloved annual tradition — ViennaMania. It was a fun-filled evening featuring inspiring talks, travel quizzes, exciting prizes, recognition awards, and plenty of good food and laughter shared among world travellers.

A huge thank-you to our local Envoy Max Leyerer and our honored members Geri Winkler and Sylvia Alfery for making ViennaMania unforgettable!
