Tech Tools of the Trade

I find one of the most useful sources of information on MLS listings is the property's room sizes. Little laser tape measures like this one make the job a super simple task. Just point and shoot and you have measured the distance. When entering the info in the MLS, be sure to round to the nearest foot. Click here to check out a laser measuring tape.

Reminder: Listings Required

Remember: When you take a listing, you must submit it to the MLS within 72 hours of the listing contract date (not including weekends or postal holidays.) The only exception to the rule is if the seller certifies in writing on the WRIST MLS Opt-Out form to withhold the listing from the MLS. Also, at least one exterior photo of the property is required to be submitted within 48 hours of the listing being entered into the MLS.

Flyer Maker Pro in Matrix

All subscribers have access to a program called "Flyer Maker Pro." This program creates fantastic looking listing brochures for your properties. Look for the black and green (FM) icon on the results grid to start creating your own!
