On September 24, the launch meeting of the three-year project "SOLIDES - Health, civil society organizations, and the fight against greenhouse gas emissions through sustainable innovations in renewable energy in Moldova" took place. The project, funded by France through AFD, aims to contribute to ensuring sustainable access to energy for social and health infrastructures in Moldova, with a focus on renewable energy and increasing community resilience. This year, as part of our project "Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership," we organized a children's competition called "Stories about SDGs"—an initiative designed to inspire critical thinking and creativity among young people around the Sustainable Development Goals. The contest enjoyed tremendous interest – we received 124 stories! The results are available here.

EcoVisio is implementing a new project dedicated to rural communities in the Republic of Moldova, aimed at reducing energy poverty and promoting the transition to renewable energy sources and energy-efficient practices. In this context, we are launching the selection process for 11 rural communities that will benefit from direct support within the project – alongside other localities already involved.

The caravan will run from October to December 2025, with the aim of informing and involving communities in responsible waste management. During the caravan, there will be demonstrations of proper sorting, sessions on home composting, creative reuse ideas, and interactive activities for children and young people.
