Beautify the Pine Street Community Garden!

Help VINES beautify and reclaim one of our oldest community gardens on Pine Street in downtown Binghamton at 67 Pine Street. We will be working on beautifying the lot cleaning up some brush and planting perennials and pollinator-attracting plants.

Join us in volunteering on May 15th from 5-7pm!   

VINES Community Meal

VINES is looking for volunteers to prepare and serve a community meal on Tuesday, May 29th at the United Presbyterian Church located at 42 Chenango St in Binghamton.

Interested volunteers should RSVP no later than Friday the 25th. Include your full name, email address, phone number, and the shift you would like to volunteer for. Volunteers who sign up will will receive a confirmation email with directions to the church.

Shift 1: 12:30- 4:00pm:
Volunteers will prepare, cook, and assemble food for the community meal, set tables, and conduct other dinner preparation activities as assigned by the volunteer coordinator.

Shift 2: 4:30- 7:00pm:
Volunteers will serve meals in the dining room, run dishes back to the kitchen, serve beverages, and assist with cleanup. This is a fast paced, community engaging shift.

Open work days at the farm begin this Thursday!

Open workdays on the Urban Farm will be on Thursdays from 9-12  at 16 Tudor St. Binghamton, NY

Open Workdays on the CHOW farm Begins on Wednesday, May 9th from 1-4 PM at Lawrence Ave, Conklin 

Tasks include: Picking and washing vegetables, preparing for farm share season, weeding, watering, planting, compost maintenance etc.
