Taking the sustainable route to WOMEX 2025

This month, Tŷ Cerdd, in partnership with Wales Arts International, leads a delegation to global music expo WOMEX in Finland.

As part of the programme, three of the Welsh contingent will collaborate with a group of UK artists and industry professionals on a sustainable, artistic journey across land and sea. Read more

Shortlist announced for international showcase

Works by six Welsh composers have been submitted for next year's International Society of Contemporary Music's World New Music Days.

Meet the composers whose music has been chosen to represent Wales at the 25-concert festival due to take place in Bucharest next May.

Tomos Williams – uniting the worlds of jazz and folk

The highly original work of jazz trumpeter and composer Tomos Williams has been recognised with several awards and an Ivor Novello nomination.

The deadline for our current round of lottery funded grants is 15 October.

Don't forget that additional funds are being allocated for traditional music of all kinds in our remaining Lottery funding rounds of 2025/26.

Apply now for grants of up to £2k available from the Create, Engage and Inspire strands.

Check out our new Eisteddfod publications

Several set pieces are now available on our shop for the Urdd Eisteddfod 2026 and Young Farmers Eisteddfod 2025, from choral works Esgair Llyn and Cana imi Gân o Heddwch, to songs like Yr Ornest and Gwlad y Delyn.
