The MLTAV Committee would like to wish all members the very best for the festive season.

We thank you for all your contributions to the quality teaching and learning of languages in 2022 and hope you enjoy a restful break.

We will also be taking a break from 20 December - 23 January and look forward to working together again in 2023.

MLTAV Committee 2023

We are pleased to introduce the 2023 MLTAV committee elected at the recent Annual General Meeting.

Executive committee members:

Immediate Past President: Andrew Morabito
Vice President: Kylie Farmer
Secretary: Linton Roe
Treasurer: Jaclyn Curnow

General committee members:
Lili Cvetkovic, Mark Gabriele, Dolly Gerges, Lauren Gould, Eleonora Luisetto, Megan McLaughlin, Elena Pirovano, Sean Pratt, Felix Siddell, Andrea Truckenbrodt.

The committee also includes a nominee from each accredited Single Language Association.

2023 MLTAV Membership Renewals

Its time to renew/join the MLTAV to ensure you continue to access the benefits of membership in 2023.

You will be pleased to know that 2023 membership rates will remain the same as 2022 rates.

Join as an Individual/ School/ Commercial member.

Remember if you are registering as a school, ensure you add all language teachers as contacts so they receive MLTAV communications directly.

You have the option to pay by credit card or direct deposit.
If you choose to pay by direct deposit, your registration will generate an invoice which will be emailed to you for you to send on to your school business manager for payment.

NEW Literacy and Languages Resources available on MLTAV website

MLTAV has launched a new collection or resources to support teachers of Langauges to further understand how to support development and transfer of students' literacy skills through all language learning.

The resources provide teachers with practical strategies that can be used to lead literacy conversations in schools with students, colleagues and leaders.

DET Languages Educator Register

Are you interested in being notified of languages education positions in Victorian government schools?

The Languages Educator Register is open to current language teachers, pre-service language teachers, recent graduates, undergraduate students, and anyone with native or advanced languages skills.
