This event is for Women Coaches in Illinois - Head Coach/Assistant Coaches (Must be 21&O to partake)

The Illinois Swimming Coaches Committee received a discounted rate for Illinois Coaches and Athletes to attend the Central States Swim Clinic.

 April 26-28th at the Hyatt Lodge Oakbrook

ISI Coaches attending the Central States Clinic will be entered in a raffle to win a $100 Gift Card! 20 Chances to WIN!

Also please join us Saturday April 27th for a coaches social. We will have a meeting room on site, food provided. Raffle winners will be announced here. More information will be sent to registered coaches. 

12&U Medalists at Age Group Championships received an invitation to attend the Age Group Select Camp. The application opened 3/15 and filled quickly. See list of accepted applicants below. 

Sunday April 28th at Superior Training Facility featuring American Record Holder, Beata Nelson

All-Star teams from Illinois, Indiana, and Gulf Swimming will be competing at the IUPUI Natatorium on May 31-June 2, 2024 at the fourth annual Duel in the Pool.  

Selected Athletes received invitations this past week, coaches were copied on the email invite. A final roster will be posted when complete. 

**NEW THIS YEAR** To celebrate the Olympic year, the meet will have prelim/finals component and will also be open to athletes of all ages in an Open event provided the swimmers have a USA Swimming Speedo Summer Championships 18&U standard in a given event. Athletes competing in the Open events will travel and compete WITH THEIR CLUB and not part of Team Illinois.

The Illinois Swimming Age Group and Senior Committees are proud to present the first event of a unique progressive camp series leading our Illinois Swimming Athletes to the LA Olympics in 2028.

Project LA June 8-9^th at Stevenson High School.

With the goal of bringing as many Illinois Swimming Athletes as possible to the 2028 Olympic Trials, we recognize that also includes bringing opportunities to all our coaches in Illinois. 

Therefore, we are also offering a Coaches Track featuring Coach Chris Martin and a free hotel room to the first 20 teams to register. 

All ISI clubs are eligible to send 1 coach to attend the Coach Track. Clubs with athletes selected to attend Project LA are eligible to send additional coaches, dependent upon the number of athletes selected. Your Coach Track Invitation (sent Monday 4/8 to the Head Coach) specifies how many coaches your club is eligible to bring.

This is a free educational opportunity brought to you by Illinois Swimming. A final schedule will be sent to registered coaches. 

The USA Swimming Coaching Network is designed to help coaches increase connectivity, build a strong supportive network, and provide education opportunities for swim coaches working with the 13 and over athletes in their club’s senior program.

*Meets listed on the planning calendar have been voluntarily listed for planning purposes. Teams using this calendar should verify the meet has been sanctioned. Sanctioned meets can be found on the Illinois Swimming home page under team events.
