The Master of a Singapore-flagged Tug towing a Barge in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) in the Singapore Strait reported that two sampans with five personnel aboard approached the Barge. The sampans departed at 16:50LT.

The Tug and Barge continued towards their next port of call at Ci Daging, Indonesia, and did not require any assistance.
