They completely controlled the media and Hollywood/TV entertainment. More than 90% of all print, online, radio and TV “news” was negative to Trump. "The View" and all late-night comedy viciously attacked or ridiculed Trump and all Republicans.
When Trump seemed to get more votes than Hilary Clinton, Democrats were in complete denial. They first did recounts. Then four months falsely blaming “the Russians”.
However, on March 2, 2017, Democrats learned the truth. The above study by Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for the Internet & Society and MIT’s Center for Civic Media explained what happened. Ordinary citizens like us used Twitter and Facebook to reach more voters than all the mainstream media and Hollywood and TV entertainment industry combined!
During March of 2017, Twitter, Facebook Microsoft and Google executives frantically met and agreed to fundamentally change Twitter, Facebook, and the whole internet, so this could never happen again. Since March of 2017, we urged Republicans and President Trump to deal with this threat. Sadly, they did nothing until AFTER 2020 election.
