Welcome to our July newsletter, 

We had the great pleasure of attending two exhibitions earlier in the year. The first was in May at the NEC in Birmingham where we exhibited at the Packaging & Innovations & Empack 2022.  It was a fantastic show and a pleasure to meet so many people. 

Our clever, plastic free, environmentally friendly eLok pack was recognised in the top ten most innovative products at the exhibition! We were amongst some incredible inventions and delighted to achieve 2nd place overall. 

We were able to show case our eLok packing with two great products from two passionately green companies; if you haven’t tried them yet, we highly recommend both NOBL Thirst and Two Farmers! 

A big shout out to a lovely small business near our Milton Keynes head office Kates Bakes who baked and supplied the cupcakes that were packed in our direct food BRCGS accredited in-house Window patch Box  – they were delicious!

And then we went to Germany...

In June, two of our team took an environmentally friendly drive in an electric car out to Hamburg, to attend the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) to showcase our exclusive skytidy® product, proudly manufactured in our UK plants. In our quest to reduce the use of plastic in the skies, our skytidy® product range has been developed and manufactured utilising recyclable materials from FSC® sustainable sources.

After an intensive auditing process, we did it!  We achieved the BRCGS global standard for the supply of packaging into the food industry. The A rating against Issue 6 includes direct food packaging!

The BRCGS certification enables our customers to demonstrate to their customers,  their commitment to food safety while increasing confidence in their brand.
