Hello,

This spring we are launching a brand new CCLN Learning Community that might benefit you or some young leaders in your orbit.

The Emerging Leaders Lab is a 12-month learning environment for young pastors who want to:

• Deepen in character

• Strengthen their leadership

• Build practical skills for pastoral ministry

• Grow alongside a community of like-minded pastors from across Canada

We are starting this year’s intake in May with 20-25 pastors, and we still have spots available.

About The Emerging Leaders Lab

Who is it for? This community is for the associate pastor, the site pastor, the youth pastor, the executive pastor—the pastor who sees themselves in local church leadership long-term, and has at least five years of experience formally leading in the church. The typical applicant will be 25-35 years of age with some exceptions. 

How does it work? The majority of the Lab will take place online and we will be anchored by the following elements:

1. Monthly Large Group Gatherings (Online)- Regular two-hour sessions exploring a key area of pastoral formation, with exercises, discussions, and collaboration to help you contextualize themes in your world

2. Monthly Cohort Gatherings (Online) - Regular two-hour touch points facilitated by a seasoned guide in cohorts with 4-5 other pastors who are in a similar stage of ministry

3. Regular Mentorship - Ongoing access to a seasoned pastor to help you process life and ministry

4. Kick-Off Retreat (In-Person) - A three-day retreat in Vancouver, BC to start the program

We want to see more healthy, faithful pastors leading in Canada for decades to come. And we see the Emerging Leaders Lab as one of the ways to set more pastors on a trajectory of ongoing growth as disciples and pastors.
