Teens Conference 2024: Bless #祝福

As AFC in Canada, we are constantly asking ourselves how we can capture the imaginations of the next generation with the Good News of the gospel – a message of hope, redemption, and restoration for the entire world.

作為加拿大基督使者協會，我們一直在思考，如何用福音的好消息來激發下一代的想像力 ─ 這是一則有關希望、救贖和整個世界修復的信息

We want to inspire the next generation to shape their lives around Jesus’ love and God’s mission to renew and restore all things. Imagine a generation that is fervent in their passion to cultivate God’s shalom wherever they go. How would our communities look different?
我們希望激勵下一代將他們的生命圍繞著耶穌的愛和上帝對重建和修復萬物的使命。試想像一下，這一代充滿熱情地在他們所到之處不斷培養上帝的平安。我們的社區會有何不同的面貌呢？

Our TC theme this year explores what it means to be a Blessing. Drawing on several different themes throughout Scripture, our speakers will share a vision of cultivating a Deep Faith and Wide Embrace, as we seek to be imitators of Jesus.

Junior Conference Speaker (Grade 7-9)

Christine Lee 李黃羨清女士

Christine has loved Teens Conference for as long as she can remember. She first attended TC in grade 7 and it changed her life. She loves the poor very much and spent many years serving those living in low income housing in Toronto. She currently serves with Matthew House, a ministry that helps refugees in Canada. Christine holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Tyndale University.

Christine一直以來都熱愛TC。她在七年級時第一次參加了TC，這也改變了她的人生。她非常愛護低收入人士，並在多倫多的低收入住房區域服務了多年。她目前在Matthew House事奉，這是一個幫助加拿大難民的事工。Christine擁有Tyndale大學的神學碩士學位。

Jillian Chong 宗明明女士

Growing up in a competitive school system in Singapore depressed Jillian. When she got to know God at age 11, she was very excited to learn that Jesus came so that we can have a full life (John 10:10). As the Director of People and Culture at AFC, her passion is empowering others to discover how living their full life goes hand in hand with seeking the flourishing of all creation. Jillian obtained her M.A. in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2021.

在新加坡競爭激烈的學校體制中長大讓Jillian 感到沮喪。當她在11歲那年認識上帝時，她非常興奮地得知耶穌來是為了讓我們可以擁有豐盛的生活（約翰福音10:10）。作為AFC的人力資源和文化總監，她的熱情是賦予他人力量，使他們發現過上豐盛生活與尋求所有造物的繁榮息息相關。Jillian於2021年從Fuller Theological Seminary獲得全球領導碩士學位。

Darren Lung 龍德恩先生

Having travelled to 36 countries, Darren considers himself an adventurer at heart. On the other hand, Darren also loves to spend his summer weekends puttering around in his ever expanding garden. As the Executive Director of AFC in Canada, he is excited to serve, empower, and learn from the next generation. Darren recently graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Global Leadership.

龍德恩先生自認為是一位冒險家，曾經遊歷36個國家。另一方面，龍達倫也喜歡在夏季週末在他花園中遊蕩。作為加拿大基督使者協會的執行董事，他很高興為下一代服務、賦予力量並學習。最近, 龍德恩先生更從Fuller Theological Seminary獲得了全球領導碩士學位。

With exciting workshops, team activities, and more opportunities than ever to interact with a broad spectrum of Christian organizations from across Academia, Camp Ministry, and Missions, TC2024 is the only Christian student conference designed FOR students BY students in Canada today.

This year, we are trusting God to help us develop a ministry to the growing population of Hong Kong Newcomers. Do you know a recent Newcomer (or someone who is passionate about ministry to Newcomers) who is fluent in Cantonese and English, and would be excited about helping us pioneer this ministry? This position would require some Ministry Partnership Development; however, through the generosity of a partner, we have significant subsidies set aside for this position.
