Within a time of fighting a pandemic, looting unrest and great uncertainty in our country, we have a bit of good news to share. 

Our first non-profit processing plant is up and running! The first batch of our StartWell meal was made on the 1st of July.  At long last we are now in full production and orders are being shipped to schools and ECD’s as we speak!

But before we continue, just to make sure we comply with the POPI act that came into effect 1 July 2021, we ensure you of our commitment to respect and protect your personal information. The Inani Start Well Foundation commit to doing nothing more than sharing our latest news, specials and innovative products with you. We want to make sure, however, that you are equally happy to hear from us!

World hunger and malnutrition levels worsened dramatically in the last year, with most of the increase likely due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a multi-agency United Nations (UN) report published on Monday 12 July 2021.

To worsen things, the news and social media channels are filled with the current looting unrest. In the words of President Cyril Ramaposa on Monday evening when addressing the nation: 

“This is not who we South Africans are” and I agree wholeheartedly. 

Giving, supporting, helping our fellow citizens – this is who we are. Remarkably everywhere communities are standing together. Citizens step forward to support the police and strengthening the security forces.

So I believe there is hope. On a scale never seen before, individuals and groups are finding ways to help those in need of support. You can join us in doing so.

We call on you to be an active citizen in your community by making a donation, or to become involved with a Village Project, an initiative driven by our foundation.
