Panida Annual Membership Meeting We’re excited to announce the annual Panida Membership meeting that will be held October 17th at 6:00 PM in the Main Theater. All the current safety precautions will be observed including the ability for the appropriate social distancing. We will also offer an online format as well, for those preferring to watch the meeting virtually. This yearly gathering brings together the Board and the membership, including all who have generously volunteered time or contributed monetary support to the Panida Theater. “It takes a village" to weather such a storm and with your support we are getting through this one together while we've all socially distanced. Attendees will have the opportunity to applaud the hard work and dedication of the staff and volunteers, ask questions, as well as make observations and recommendations toward creating an ever-brighter future for the Panida during this unprecedented challenging time. Patricia, our Executive Director, will provide an annual review on the state of the Panida for the community. Members will hear personally from a slate of proposed candidates to the Board of Directors up for election, who will be voted on by the membership and confirmed at this meeting. Those candidates are: Tari Pardini, Kevin Smith, and Teresa Pesce. Come learn more about our exciting new card system and the many benefits it will offer our members. Cards may be available for pick up at the annual meeting or will be mailed out. Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be available, and everyone will be eligible to win door prizes. (Rumor has it that a silent auction may even be in the works). The Panida is the heart of our community and it's up to all of us to keep it beating. It is the sincere hope of the Panida Board and staff that all who feel comfortable attending will join us as we kick off a new year for the Panida and take this opportunity to offer thanks to all who have worked so hard to keep the theater going - staff, volunteers, board members and our loyal patrons and donors who continue to show their support year after year. We hope you will plan to celebrate all that the Panida is to our community.
