MAY CHECKLIST

Register your Board and Chairs with Council. If you don't have them ALL filled...that is fine. Submit and edit...we just want to make sure your PTA is in the loop. We may have quick POP UP training and videos to help with the transition and support you.
Register your board with Texas PTA (each officer/chair must do so separately).
Adopt a budget at the annual meeting for the next fiscal year.
Present a preliminary annual report at this meeting.
Appoint a committee to approve the minutes of the last executive board meeting and the last delegate meeting
Submit procedure books and materials within 15 days after their successors assume their duties. Can be digital!
Consider a transition meeting & event.
Coordinate with the newly elected President to change signers on the bank account when the financial reconciliation starts.
Celebrate the PTA’s successes!
