It was my birthday a few days ago and since I turned 37, which is a prime number, I decided to do my best to make this year one of the "prime times of my life".

I'm always working toward becoming better, but I had a few wakeup calls in 2022 that are really making me focus on getting serious about a few things.

I probably shouldn't post it here, since it's not exactly a video that makes me look good, but I will say that my experience with a trapeze over the Thanksgiving holiday has been one of the things to push me back to lifting weights and really trying to be healthier this year. (Yes...the trapeze gets me everytime. Not only have I been trapped in a foam pit like Maya in Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star after being seduced by a lovely trapeze...but I can now add face planting off a trapeze to my list of "ways a trapeze did me dirty". 🤦‍♀️)

 Since I STILL don't think I'll be able to resist a trapeze the next time I see one. (The old gymnast in me is still fighting to get out.) My goal is to build up enough upper body strength that I can try the trapeze again in a year or two and come out victorious. 😉

I smiled and nodded, curious about what he’d do next.

Arie moved his mouth next to my ear. His warm breath sent chills down my spine as he whispered, “Sweet nothings, sweet nothings, sweet nothings.”

I giggled and slapped his chest. “Oh, Arie, you are smooth. Is that what you say to all your dates?”

“No, just the ones I like.”
