After a half century championing the work of living composers, the Vale of Glamorgan Festival has come to an end.

Its charity’s farewell gesture will be to distribute grants of between £2k & £6k for composer-led work in Wales that demonstrate a collaboration between composer/s and performer/s.

The three selected composers will work with Simmy Singh (violin), David Shaw (violin/viola) and Garwyn Linnell (cello) in workshops over six months and their resulting works will be performed at the National Eisteddfod in August 2025.
