If you’re looking for a winter rafting wilderness adventure that will build character, skills and lifelong memories among your troop, we’ve got the trip that will suit your Troop. Not only that, an adventure with Scenic Trails Activities Committee challenges Scouts and Venturers to turn off all the distractions around them and become immersed in the now—to explore outside. And most importantly, it’s the opportunity to instill a lifelong love of the outdoors in our Scouts.

But we know that heading into the backcountry with a Troop can be challenging, so we’ve taken care of all the logistics necessary to get your Scouts ready for this trek of a lifetime. We will be providing guided rafting down the beautiful Pine River in northern Michigan, utilizing the Pine River Paddle Sports equipment and staff. Following the float, your Scouts will experience a wilderness snowshoe hike through some of the most picturesque views of the river.
