On launching a product, being a happy superstar and dealing with emotions.

Hello! Welcome to the A.B.C. TOOLBOX bulletin - a weekly selection of ideas, tools and people that I have come across and found interesting.

Remember: it is written with the intention to inspire and help you grow in business. I hope you will enjoy it!

A. Book: Winning without losing

Achieving balance is a myth if you want to accomplish something big.

You need to push hard against time to maximize the learning curve and become very good, very quickly.

But this tempo and intensity can mean huge risk of burnout or cause failure in your personal life.

How to win without losing?

By making smart tweaks in the way you think about most common activities.

For example, have walking or cycling meetings with your team to increase movement and decrease sitting time.

It works for me. Try it.

This hint comes from the book:

"Winning Without Losing: 66 Strategies for Succeeding in Business While Living a Happy and Balanced Life” by Martin Bjergegaard and Jordan Milne.

Enjoy stories of Jason Fried, Brad Feld, Derek Sivers and Tony Hsieh and other great achievers who all found ways to maintain their wellbeing while building great companies.

B. Idea: Dealing with emotions

We had a discussion with a friend recently. It seems nobody was right.

Let’s assume one day you feel down and you think you have failed.

It happens to all of us from time to time.

Is it better to:

  • take a cold shower, pretend it never happened, smile and confront the reality believing that your attitude will change reality?
  • let the emotion drag you down for some time, spend some time trying to understand and live it, let the feeling either disappear while risking a nervous breakdown?

Which is your way?

C. Blog: Launching a new product

Welcome to the times of speed and change.

We constantly have to launch new solutions and add substantial value to stay in the market.

No silver bullets here, but I will share some thoughts on how to increase the probability of success.

If you ever look for a better way of getting a product onto the market, you may find some value in my new blog post: How to increase the probability of success when launching a new product?

If you prefer watching a video - my first Facebook Live stream on the same topic, watched by over 400 people, has been recorded and is available here: Building a New Offer Around The Client.

That is it for this Friday. Tell me which text was your favourite - A, B or C!

Just reply to this email. :)

Have a great weekend!

P.S. Recommend someone you like working with to others. It costs nothing but helps a lot.
