Moana just read two fantastic short story collections by science fiction author Ted Chiang: Exhalation and Stories of Your Life. She stayed up late reading the title story of the second collection, and it made her cry for a good hour or so.
Anabel is reading two nonfiction books about horseback riding, which is much less dangerous than actually riding horses. She has also planted a bunch of things in her garden - expect to see some pictures of zinnias soon, if the birds don't get to them.
In personal news, Chris recently sprained his knee while attempting to jump across a ten foot-wide river filled with alligators. Just kidding, he was doing his laundry. He says that in the first few days after his sprain, "I was just a disaster... now at least I'm hobbling around." He can't wait to get back on his bike, much to the chagrin of his physical therapist.
That's it for April! We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful sunny skies, the nice warm gardening weather, and the peace of mind that comes with being completely finished with your taxes.
Much love,
Moana and the Natural Bridges Team
