Greetings from the UK,

This is a mystery I thought I'd never have to tackle.

On Wednesday, with no warning, Amazon closed my publishing account and removed my ebooks.

I'm heartbroken.

A closed account prevents any online conversations and there are no telephone numbers. Just a single form that you fill in and then you wait to find out what's going on and if they will change their minds.

I'm fortunate to have the expert help of an independent body, called Alli, who have taken on my case and are presenting the facts to Amazon.

I'm hopeful this error will be repaired, but until it is, my books are not available.

Preorder books

Amazon has also cancelled the upcoming preorder - Death at the Swan Tavern.

You should have received an email to let you know, and you won't be charged for the book.

When my account is reopened, I shall set it up again.

So sorry for the trouble this has caused.

I get so much joy from sharing stories with you, but I'm currently heartsick over what has happened.
