In January, Aasraa hosted a transformative Capacity Building Programme with support from the Max India Foundation. Over 6 days, 178 team members - including teachers, project leaders and programme managers - came together to strengthen skills in leadership, classroom management, programme execution and team collaboration. 

This initiative reflects our belief that empowered teams, create lasting impact. Investing in our people is investing in our future. 

On March 23, 2025, Aasraa participated in the grand celebration marking three years of the Uttarakhand State Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. 

Students from our partner schools showcased their tech projects. Their creativity and technical skills were warmly appreciated by the Chief Minister and other dignitaries.

Children rescued through our Anti-Begging Campaign at the Intensive Care Centre, Sadhuram Raja Road, also attended. The Chief Minister, along with District Magistrate Mr. Savin Bansal, distributed education kits and visited the children’s display stall, encouraging their enthusiasm to learn and grow.

At Aasraa, we believe that education thrives when families and schools work together. That’s why we regularly conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to engage parents and guardians in their children’s learning journeys. 

These sessions focus on vital topics such as promoting gender equality, hygiene, consistent school attendance, and building a supportive home environment for study. In this quarter alone, we conducted 48 PTMs across all our programmes—reinforcing the shared responsibility of nurturing every child’s potential.
